Service Information
Carol M. Tucker, age 89, of Buffalo Lake, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota.
Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Zion United Methodist Church in Buffalo Lake with interment in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Preston Lake Township, Renville County, Buffalo Lake, Minnesota.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Carol Maxine Tucker was born on January 16, 1933, in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Walton and Della (Schafer) Fischer. Carol was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth at Zion Evangelical Church in Buffalo Lake. She received her education in Buffalo Lake, and was a graduate of the Buffalo Lake High School Class of 1951. Carol furthered her education at the Minneapolis School of Arts for a brief time.
In October of 1954, Carol was united in marriage to Thomas Tucker at Zion Evangelical Church in Buffalo Lake. This marriage was blessed with two sons, Timothy and Dean.
Later in life, Carol attended San Jose State University in San Jose, California, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in 1991 for Occupational Therapy. She was employed as an Occupational Therapist at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula in Monterey, California. She moved back to Buffalo Lake and continued her work as an Occupational Therapist with Hutchinson Health. Carol retired in 2009. Carol was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Buffalo Lake. She was also a board member of the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center.
Carol enjoyed oil painting in her younger years, being outdoors and walking, reading, and woodworking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.
Carol passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center in Buffalo Lake, at the age of 89 years.

Sisters-in-law, Joan Fischer of Chisago City, MN,
Belinda Fischer of Dallas, TX;
Many other relatives and friends.
Carol is preceded in death by her Parents, Walton and Della Fischer; Siblings, Leeland Fischer, LaVonne Ledbetter, Dennis Fischer.
