Obituary

Jolene Ann Albrecht was born on July 30, 1954, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Eldon and Alice (Jaskowiak) Pulkrabek. Jolene was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith as a youth at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Church in Silver Lake, Minnesota. She received her education in Silver Lake, and was a graduate of the Silver Lake High School Class of 1972.

On October 6, 1979, Jolene was united in marriage to Larry M. Albrecht at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson. They resided in Hutchinson. Jolene and Larry shared 43 years of marriage.

Jolene was employed as a cook for Buster’s Cafe, Carol’s Cafe, and the VFW Post 906, all in Hutchinson. She owned Absolute Catering and catered for special events in her spare time. Jolene was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church.

Jolene enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and campfires. She liked to hike Gunflint Trail, enjoyed being on the water on the houseboat, and watching fireworks. Jolene especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Jolene passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023, at Harmony River Living Center in Hutchinson, at the age of 68 years.

Jolene is preceded in death by her Father, Eldon Pulkrabek; Mother, Alice Webb and her husband, Carl; Brothers, Gordon Pulkrabek, Allan “Butch” Pulkrabek.
