Jordan S. Ristow, age 36, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at his home in Hutchinson.
Funeral Service will he held on Monday, December 4, 2023, 11:00 A.M., at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 3:00-5:00 P.M., at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Military Honors by Hutchinson Memorial Rifle Squad and the United States Marine Corps.
Obituary
Jordan was born April 30, 1987, in Glencoe to Stanly and Rebecca (Schwartz) Ristow of Hutchinson. He was baptized and later confirmed at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Lester Prairie. After graduating from Hutchinson High School in 2005, he served in the United States Marine Corps as a heavy equipment mechanic through 2009. He spent time in Okinawa and was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon his return to Hutchinson, he worked for Warrior and Cambria and attended Nondestructive Testing Technology at Ridgewater College.
Jordan enjoyed riding his motorcycle, snowmobile, and helping/flying at the airport. He was mechanically and technically savvy. He enjoyed being hands-on and helping others through their projects, all while enjoying the time together.
He was very loved and will be sorely missed.
Jordan is survived by his father, Stanly Ristow; mother, Rebecca Ristow and her significant other, John Healy; brother, Justin Ristow and his wife Christina, nephew Noah; brother Joshua Ristow and his wife Beth, niece Hannah; and his significant other, Sally Pauesick and her children, Leigha and Otto.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clarence and Betty Schwartz, August and Luella Ristow.
