Obituary

Andresa Rae Mulnix was born on October 17, 1963, in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of Fred J. Strahm and Ruth E. (Williams) Strahm. She received her education at Bruce Public School and was part of the graduating Class of 1981. She furthered her education at Normandale Community College.

On October 21, 2017, four days after her birthday, she got her birthday wish and met the man of her dreams. “He knows how to back up a trailer!” On May 18, 2019, Andresa was united in marriage to Roy Mulnix in West St. Paul, Minnesota. After their marriage, the couple resided in South Minneapolis and later in Arlington, Minnesota. She was employed at Bock and Associates for over 20 years, then it was purchased by Farm Journal. She was such an asset; that the new company asked her to stay working with them.

Andresa enjoyed quilting, going to quilting workshops, and reading many types of books, Sci-Fi (Science fiction) being her favorite. She had an adventurous palette for many incredible foods. She loved traveling, especially with her husband, and riding on the back of their Harley-Davidson. Her walk with God and Church at Evergreen in Bloomington, Minnesota, was a huge part of her life for many years. Most recently, Andresa was a member of Lighthouse Church in Plato, Minnesota. She also liked volunteering at Feed My Starving Children and with the children's ministry. She had a great thirst for knowledge and wisdom as well as learning about herbs and how they worked. She was so passionate; she could talk for hours about any of these subjects. She greatly cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.

Andresa passed away in her husband’s arms on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at M Health Fairview Southdale in Edina at the age of 60 years. Blessed be her memory.

    My dearest Andresa –
I love seeing your picture of that glorious day of your wedding!
What a beautiful event it was and I feel such a privilege to have been a part of it. Our Bible Study group was honored to help you celebrate.
I can see you now in heaven celebrating great health and reuniting with family and friends, but most of all seeing our precious Savior face to face.
My love and prayers with your family!

I am so sorry to hear of this news. I am a classmate of Andresa and was looking for her to add her to our “Gathering of Friends” group. A group of our classmates. The last time I saw her was at one of our class reunions, in 2011 I think, and we all had so much fun. I wish I would have been in touch sooner. My condolences to the family.
