Obituary
Allen Bruce Timmers (Al) was born July 16, 1964, the youngest of six children. Number 6 was a planned addition: his father, Marv, really wanted to add one more child to his expanding Catholic family.
The youngest of four boys, he soon learned the hierarchy of the pack and stayed close to the safety of his father. Unfortunately, his Dad died when Al was only twelve years old - and that forever changed his life.
As a teenager, Al enjoyed playing football and baseball in high school, He was a left-handed pitcher for the Waconia Chiefs and lettered in both sports.
In 1996 he married Julie Jablinski, truly the love of his life! Together they enjoyed boating on Lake Minnetonka, cruising in their Mustang convertible, golfing, and watching the Vikings on Sundays. Al would take vacation days from work on Sundays to secure a spot on his recliner.
For 40+ years, he worked nights at RR Donnelley as a Head Pressman. He was forever trying to catch up on his sleep. Now he will finally enjoy eternal rest and peace at last.

My heart is broken. Al and i had a special bond. We both lost our dad’s at a young age and we .knew exactly how each other felt about being a bit different that everyone else we grew up with. Al was Hilarious! Impeccable comedic timing.. Al will be missed, but my memories of him will be forever with me. I am a lucky guy to have known him. RIP Reuben!

So sorry to hear of Al’s passing and my condolences to his extended family. I knew Al through high school and will always remember his humor and camaraderie – a twinkle in his eye, I think, even through his tinted glasses. I had fun playing football and baseball with him, even though I could never hit his left-handed fastball. Rest in peace
