Obituary

Joleen Meta Rosenau was born on March 12, 1942, in New Ulm, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Theodor and Agnes (Hermel) Fluegge. Joleen was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth, both at Zion Lutheran Church, Brighton Township, Nicollet County, Minnesota. She received her education at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in New Ulm and was a graduate of the New Ulm High School class of 1960.

On July 15, 1961, Joleen was united in marriage to Melvin Rosenau at Zion Lutheran Church in Brighton Township, Nicollet County, Minnesota.
