Daniel “Dan” D. Harbarth, age 64, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale, Minnesota.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025, 11:00 A.M., at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Auburn, Minnesota, with interment at a later date in High Island Cemetery in New Auburn.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M., one hour prior to the service ALL at the church.
Obituary
Daniel “Dan” Donald Harbarth was born on May 18, 1961, in Glencoe, Minnesota. He was the son of Donald and Darlene (Petersen) Harbarth. Dan was baptized as an infant by Pastor Dohmeier at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Penn Township, near Brownton, Minnesota, and later confirmed in his faith as a youth by Pastor Krueger at Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Auburn, Minnesota. Daniel received his education in Glencoe and graduated from the Glencoe High School with the class of 1980.
Dan made his home on the family farm west of Glencoe. He was a hard worker all his life. Growing up, he helped farm and drove truck. He was a truck driver through and through, starting at the age of 15. He hauled feed for the Glencoe Mill, which is now known as ADM in Glencoe, with the Trans Alliance LLC trucking company.
Dan was a collector of vintage cars and a part of a group of collectors. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hunting, and fishing. And when he was younger, he enjoyed racing at the Arlington Raceway in Arlington, Minnesota.
Dan passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale, at the age of 64 years, 3 months, and 13 days. Blessed be his memory.

Great-Nephews, Eli & Emmett Schade;
Uncle, Gerald Harbarth and his wife, Diane, of Brownton, MN;
Aunt, ElDonna Harbarth of Hutchinson, MN;
Cousins, Other Relatives, and Friends.
Dan was preceded in death by Father and Mother, Donald and Darlene Harbarth; Uncle, Willmar Harbarth; and Cousin, Jesse Harbarth.
