Obituary

Delores Evangeline (Beich) Bleick joined her Lord and Savior on September 27, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. Delores was born on May 14, 1944, to Louis and Frances (Tabbert) Beich of Stewart, Minnesota. Delores was baptized on June 4, 1944, and later confirmed in her faith at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stewart. She received her education in Stewart and was a 1962 graduate of Stewart Public High School.

On August 17, 1963, Delores was united in marriage to Friedubert (Bert) Bleick at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stewart. After their marriage, the couple farmed and managed a dairy operation in Cairo Township, Renville County, Minnesota, before moving into the town of Fairfax. She was an involved partner on the farm and caring homemaker always involved in the daily needs of her boys and providing lunches to those in the field.

Delores was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax, Minnesota. She was an active member of her community serving on the Fairfax Baseball Association, managing the local Duebers store, and leading the Cairo Sharpshooters 4H club while her 4 sons participated.

Delores was a dedicated and proud mother and grandmother supporting and attending as many sports and activities as possible. She enjoyed playing cards (pinochle, snozzle), bowling, and dancing. She shared her love through sweets by serving her legendary brownies and slushies. All who were lucky enough to know her would describe her as a pillar of her community and family.

Delores is survived by her four sons: Brian (Lisa), Brett (Karen), Barry, and Brad (Kelly); ten grandchildren: Mason (Abbey), Mikaela (Tyler), Eve (Buddy), Madeline, Mylaney (Thomas), Quinn (Hannah), Maxwell, Olivia, Halle, and Drew; nine great grandchildren; Sisters and Brothers-In-Law: Sharleen Kiecker, Allen Bleick (Marsha) and Dawn Bleick; Other nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends.

Delores was preceded in death by her Husband, Friedubert (Bert) Bleick; Parents, Louis and Frances Beich; Parents-in-law, Ellsworth and Selma Bleick; Brothers, Deloren (Beverly) Beich and Donnie (Janice) Beich; and Brothers-In-Law, Charles (Red) Bleick and Emery Kiecker.

Deepest sympathy to the family. I loved being with Delores at the bakery when I visited my mom. She was the best informant on Fairfax news. She was so good and kind, and talked highly of her children and grandchildren. Blessed be her memory. Bonnie (Loverude) Beilke

    Our sympathy to Delores’ family
Our granddaughter always called her Mrs Duebers when she was little
    We called her Mrs Fairfax
One year when she invited us to bring our 1950 Chev pickup to the annual summer parade we put her in a lawn chair in the back of the pickup and she threw out candy
She wore many hats in the Fairfax community and it was a better place because of her
