My Aunt Gloria is one of my favorite people ever. She and my Uncle Davis were so welcoming and hosted years of gatherings at Lake Minnebelle. They were the reason I know my mom’s side of the family. A true gift to all. Aunt Gloria would often say she was so blessed to have David’s family in her life. I think it is the other way around. EVERYONE was blessed to have Aunt Gloria in their life. I know I was. I will miss her smile, the twinkle in her eyes, and her love for all.

Our dear Gloria. What a wonderful friend and caring person to all those she had in her life. We met when we were both expecting and remained constant friends. Our last visit was all the more special knowing now that it was our last hug. Love you.

Gloria hosted a baby shower the fall of 1977. The gift she gave was a fisher price horse which brought joy to my other children and now my 7 grandchildren. Gloria was so full of class and dignity and grace. She was kind and generous. I was lucky to be in her presence

Where to begin. I’ve known Gloria long before she was Aunt Gloria. Gloria blended so well into many lives that I can’t imagine what it would have been without her and Uncle David. She’s one of the kindness and most understanding individuals I’ve known. She was Uncle Davids rock and best companion. They enjoyed life to the fullest whether it be trips in the motor home, time at the lake cabin or numerous family functions. I’m sure Gloria still knew every name of their relatives and there were a bunch of them. She especially enjoyed family get together and was still the center of attraction at all of them. There’s a special place in Heaven for this beautiful and treasured individual. RIP Aunt Gloria.

Auntie Gloria, you were special to us. You, along with Uncle David left us with many special memories. Family was important to you. 4th of July was always at your lake home. Potluck, which included, homemade noodles and poppy seed, fresh fried chicken, many hotdishes, salads, desserts, and soft serve ice cream. Most important, being together with family. We will miss you at Christmas brunch, but not forgotten. There is a big void. You were so loved.
