Service Information
Charline G. Rannow, age 77, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Buffalo Lake Healthcare Center in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota.
Funeral Service will be Friday, December 12, 2025, 11:00 A.M., at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, with interment in Round Grove Lakeside Cemetery, Stewart, Minnesota.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 P.M., at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Obituary
Charline Gail Rannow was born on May 11, 1948, in Appleton, Minnesota. She was the daughter of John and Cleo (Aeling) Penticoff. Charline was baptized and confirmed in her faith as an adult at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She received her education in Stewart, Minnesota.
On December 3, 1966, Charline was united in marriage to Gerald Rannow. This marriage was blessed with two children, Lori and Jason. Charline made her home in Hutchinson.
Charline was a loving mother and homemaker to her children. She was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church giving of her time and talents. Charline was also a member of the McLeod County Historical Society. She was very generous and donated often to numerous organizations. Charline was also very independent and determined.
Charline enjoyed going to movies, watching TV shows, cheering on the Twins and Vikings, listening to music (especial country, gospel, Elvis and Johnny Cash) and volunteering at Park Towers for their activities. She also enjoyed socializing, having coffee parties and taking bus trips with her friends. Charline loved decorating for all holidays, but her favorite was making Christmas the most magical of them all. She especially cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Charline passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Buffalo Lake Health Care Center in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota, at the age of 77 years.

Great-grandchildren, Maddilynn Mattson, Emery Mattson, Natalie Mattson, Jaydon Gaspar, Lucy Gaspar, Griffin Gaspar;
Siblings, Frances Kemmerer and her husband, Joseph of Woodbury, MN,
Betty Keske and her husband, Bruce of Brownton, MN,
Dwight Penticoff of Eagan, MN;
Many other relatives and friends.
