Brenda L. Zollner

Obituary

Brenda Lee Zollner was born on June 10, 1950, in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Corwin and Marvel (Paschke) Firle. Brenda was baptized as an infant on July 9, 1950, and later confirmed in her faith as a youth on April 11, 1965, both at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax. She received her education in Fairfax.

On September 16, 1967, Brenda was united in marriage to David Zollner at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax. After their marriage, the couple resided in Fairfax. Brenda and David were blessed with two sons, Brian and Mark. Brenda was employed as a nurses aid at the Renfair Home and the Fairfax Community Home in Fairfax. She was also employed by the Good Samaritan Society in Arlington. Brenda and David shared 58 years of marriage.

Brenda was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax.

Brenda enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, motorcycling, traveling and flower and vegetable gardening. She cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.

Brenda passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at CentraCare – Redwood Hospital in Redwood Falls at age of 75 years. Blessed be her memory.

Siblings, Kenneth Firle and his wife, Renae of Alexandria, MN, Donald Firle and his special friend, Cindy of Fairfax, MN, David Firle and his wife, Vicky of Fairfax, MN, and Gregory Firle and his wife, Jennifer of Waveland, MS;
Step-mother, June Firle;
In-Laws, Judy Mohr of North Mankato, MN, Carla Hines and her husband, Robert of Willmar, MN, Rhonda Hughes and her husband, Chris of Mankato, MN, and Eiliene Firle of Powder Springs, GA;
Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her Parents, Corwin and Marvel Firle; Brother, Bradley Firle; Sister-in-law, Rita Firle; Brother-in-law, Allan Mohr.
