Service Information
Curtis (Curt) Hopp, age 64, of Hector, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016, at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 15, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brookfield Township, rural Hector.
Interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 14, 2016, from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the Hughes-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hector, and will continue Friday for one hour prior to the service at church.
Obituary
Curtis Allen Hopp was born January 19, 1951, to Herman and Myrtle Hopp in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brookfield Township, rural Hector. Curt attended school in Cosmos, Minnesota.
Curt worked many different jobs. His main employment was iron work, but he also poured cement, did construction, and was a handyman.
He took great pride in his Ford pickup trucks, and enjoyed traveling the United States with Gina. Curt liked gardening, fixing things, and spending time with family and friends.
On Monday, January 11, 2016, Curtis passed away at the St. Cloud Hospital after battling cancer, having reached the age of 64 years. Blessed be his memory.
Curtis is survived by his partner in life, Gina Schauman, of Hector;

Russell and Janet Hopp of Hastings,
Lorraine and Donald Matheson of Litchfield,
Richard and Marcene Hopp of Cedar Mills,
Kenneth Hopp of Cosmos,
Wesley and Barb Hopp of Greenleaf, and
Kevin and Connie Hopp of Hugo;
Gina Schauman’s family: Brothers, Sisters, Nieces, and Nephews;
Nieces, Nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Curtis was preceded in death by his Parents, Herman and Myrtle Hopp.
