Myron “Mick” D. Reinke

Obituary

Myron “Mick” David Reinke was born on October 27, 1934, in Cedar Mills Township, rural Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of Werner and Sophia (Schaefer) Reinke. Myron was baptized as an infant, and later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Cedar Mills Township. He received his education at Pipe Lake Country School District 69 and St. John’s Lutheran Church.

On June 14, 1958, Myron was united in marriage to Roberta Rennecke at Peace Lutheran Church in Cosmos, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with five children, Lynn, Lori, Todd, Lisa, and Leslie. Myron and Roberta made their home on a farm in rural Cosmos/Corvuso, Minnesota, and later moved to Hutchinson. They shared 67 years of marriage.

Myron was a lifelong dairy farmer. He retired from milking and raising cattle in 1992, and retired from farming in 2012. Myron was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Cosmos, as well as serving on the church board. He was also a member of the Corvuso and Cedar Mills creamery boards, and the Cosmos and Pipe Lake school boards.

Myron enjoyed snowmobiling, traveling, sight-seeing, dancing, and playing cards. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, grandchildren and friends.

Myron passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at his home in Hutchinson, at the age of 91 years.
