Obituary
Judith “Judi” Charlene Korson was born May 24, 1944, at the Hutchinson Hospital in Hutchinson. She was the daughter of Quentin and Marvel (Vath) Hahn. Judith was baptized as an infant and confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education at Stewart Public School in Stewart.
On September 17, 1960, Judi was united in marriage to Arthur “Buzzy” Korson at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stewart. This marriage was blessed with three children, Randy, Robyn, and Russell. Arthur and Judi resided on the family farm in Collins Township and shared 58 years of marriage until Art’s passing in 2019.
Judi began working at 3M in Hutchinson when she was just 16 years old and retired March 1, 2004. Judi loved her crossword puzzles and watching her all-time favorite game show, “Wheel of Fortune” every night, along with many others on the Game Show Network. She loved a good cup of cappuccino. Her pantry was always filled with goodies and treats for the kids (and some adults too). Judi looked forward to harvest every year… making meals and giving rides to the crew. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
