Janelle (“Nellie”) Louise Tackett (nee Christiansen), age 64, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Monday, March 23, 2026.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. at Crosspoint Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota.
A short reception will be held after the service at the church.
Obituary
She was born on October 11, 1961, in St. Paul, MN. She grew up in No. St. Paul, MN, and studied at St. Cloud State University where she was an outstanding volleyball and softball player. She then moved back to the Twin Cities and later graduated with a radiology degree. She worked at Regions hospital in St. Paul, MN, for many years and later moved to Ohio. She then moved to Hutchinson, MN, to be closer to her grandchildren, where she was employed by Walmart.
Janelle will be remembered for her kindness, loving heart and contagious laugh. She left us too soon.
She would never forget to say “Love You More.”
Janelle is survived by her children: Jillian (Brandon) Thiemann, Sam (Tiffany Kostuch) Peck, Thomas (Maria McMahon) Reilly and Daniel Reilly. Her grandchildren: Theo, Aiden, and Ryland Thiemann. Siblings: Karyn (Jim) Proulx, Ken Christiansen, JoAnne (Paul) Gardner. Nieces and nephews: Krysta (Tylor) Klein, Amy Christiansen, Ryan Proulx, and Matthew (Rachael) Christiansen, Dayna Jo Addyman. She is also survived by John Peck and Thomas Reilly, Sr., along with many loving and caring friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Elva Christiansen; Other family members; Rodney Tackett.
