Pauline K. Prieve Kasal, of Talco, Texas, formerly of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on May 30, 2026, at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 62 years.
Obituary
Pauline Prieve Kasal was born on June 24, 1963, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Willard and Shirley (Kulinski) Prieve. Pauline was baptized as an infant on July 14, 1963, and later confirmed in her faith as a youth on May 7, 1978, both at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. She received her education in Hutchinson, and was a graduate of the Hutchinson High School Class of 1981. Upon graduating, Pauline moved to Texas in 1981.
On April 20, 1985, Pauline was united in marriage to her former husband, Jeff Kasal, at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. This marriage was blessed with four children, Daniel, Joseph, Hannah, and Lauren. Pauline and Jeff resided in Dallas. They later moved to Talco, Texas.
Pauline was employed as an accountant at Brushy Creek Farms in Bogata, Texas. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, Texas.
Pauline enjoyed gardening, raising chickens, canning pickles, and making sauerkraut. She often enjoyed binge-watching her favorite Netflix shows and trying new recipes out. Pauline also cherished the times she spent attending her children’s sporting events. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends.
Pauline passed away on May 30, 2026, at Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 62 years.

Pauline is preceded in death by her Father, Willard Prieve; and her Mother and Step-father, Shirley and Clifford DeBlock.
