Helen Hausladen, age 95, of Glencoe, Minnesota, and formerly of Lester Prairie, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Glencoe Regional Health Services Long Term Care in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Memorial Services will be held Friday, June 17, 2016, 2:00 P.M. at Paul-McBride Funeral Chapel in Lester Prairie, Minnesota, with interment following at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Lester Prairie, Minnesota.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Friday, June 17, 2016, from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M., one hour prior the service at the chapel.
Obituary
Helen Anna Alma (Werth) Hausladen was born on January 9, 1921, in Bergen Township, McLeod County, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Albert and Wilhelmine (Kunkel) Werth. Helen was baptized as an infant on January 30, 1921, by Rev. W. Baumhoefener at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie, Minnesota, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth on March 25, 1934, by Rev. E. Kolbe at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota.
On June 22, 1939, Helen was united in marriage to Reginald Hausladen by the Catholic priest in Winsted, Minnesota. The couple made their home in Lester Prairie, Minnesota. Helen and Reginald’s marriage was blessed with one daughter, Jean. They shared over 51 years of marriage until Reginald passed away on September 26, 1990.
In addition to being a loving wife, mother and homemaker, Helen worked at the Federated Store, Thiel’s Meat Market and was a bookkeeper for her husband, Reginald, at their business, Hausladen Implement all in Lester Prairie, Minnesota. She was an active member at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lester Prairie, where she belonged to the LWML.
Helen was very creative. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking, tailoring, decorating and reading. Helen also loved the holidays. She cherished the time spent with her family and friends.
Helen passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at Glencoe Regional Health Services Long Term Care in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 95 years, 4 months and 29 days.

Nieces, Marlene Zabell and her husband, Vernon,

Nephew, Kenneth Ortloff and his wife, Pearl;
Other relatives and many friends.
Helen is preceded in death by her Parents, Albert and Wilhelmine Werth; Husband, Reginald Hausladen; Sister, Viola Ortloff and her husband, Hilbert; Brother, Walter Werth and his wife, Marie; Brother-In-Law, Leroy Hausladen.
