Mary Eleanor Newman, age 88, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016, at Hutchinson Health in Hutchinson.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, July 21, 2016, at 10:00 A.M., at Oakland Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Obituary
Mary Eleanor Newman was born on May 16, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of Edgar and Eleanor (Johnson) Newman. Mary was baptized and confirmed in her faith as a youth in 1941, at First Congregational Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota. She received her education in Hutchinson, and was a graduate of the Hutchinson High School Class of 1948.
Mary resided in Hutchinson, most of her life.
Mary was employed at Family Drug (formerly Synder Drug) in Hutchinson. Mary was a member of New Journey United Church of Christ in Hutchinson.
Mary enjoyed watching sports. Her favorite sports teams were the Minnesota Lynx and the Minnesota Twins. She also enjoyed working in her yard. Mary cherished spending time with her friends.
Mary passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016, at Hutchinson Health in Hutchinson, at the age of 88 years.

Mary is survived by her friends.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Edgar and Eleanor Newman.
