Lila Marie Friedrichs, age 84, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016, at Hutchinson Health in Hutchinson.
Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at 12:00 P.M., at the St. Anastasia Catholic Cemetery in Hutchinson.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be Tuesday, July 26, 2016, one hour prior to the service at the Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson.
Obituary
Lila Marie Friedrichs was born on September 11, 1931, in Clotho, Todd County, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Michael and Henrietta (Classman) Bruder. Lila was baptized as an infant and later was confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education in Long Prairie, Minnesota.
On September 12, 1953, Lila was united in marriage to Arthur Friedrichs. They made their home in Long Prairie, Mound and Hutchinson, Minnesota. Lila and Arthur’s marriage was blessed with two children, Teresa and Rodney. They shared over 62 years of marriage.
In addition to being a loving wife and mother, Lila was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson. Lila was also a member of the “Red Hat” Society.
Lila enjoyed playing cards, swimming, camping and traveling. She cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Lila passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016, at Hutchinson Health in Hutchinson, at the age of 84 years.
“To all my friends and loving family, I say good-bye with thanks and thoughts of many blessings and few regrets. Every one of you is a part of the spirit I am, and please hold me in your hearts without sadness. I’ve asked my children to not have services; remember me by loving each other and appreciating the gift of life and the abilities you have.”

Daughter, Teresa Hoffmann and her husband, Robert, of Winsted, MN;
Son, Rodney Friedrichs and his wife, Michele, of Clarksville, IN;
Grandchildren, Matthew & Wendy Hoffmann, Jessica Friedrichs;
Great Grandchild, Ares Howland;
Siblings, Jerome Bruder and his wife, Viola, of Long Prairie, MN,
Laurel Bruder and his wife, Kathy, of Alexandria, MN,
Lavern Messer and her husband, David, of Sauk Center, MN,
Elaine Holmquist and her husband, Eugene, of Long Prairie, MN;
Nieces, Nephews, Other relatives and many friends.
Lila is preceded in death by her Parents, Michael and Henrietta Bruder; Infant Brother, Alfred Bruder; Sister, Dorothy Bruder.
