Obituary

Eugene “Gene” Sidney Falling was born on October 11, 1942, in Hutchinson, Minnesota.  He was the son of Clarence and Vera (Rannow) Falling.  Gene was baptized as an infant on October 23, 1942, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota, and later was confirmed in his faith as a youth on May 20, 1956, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota.  He received his education in Hutchinson, graduating with the Hutchinson High School Class of 1960.

On June 23, 1961, Gene was united in marriage to Kay Cassens by Pastor Julius Buelow at Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson, Minnesota.  Gene and Kay made their home first in Hutchinson, later moved to Mound and in 1973 settled in Glencoe, Minnesota.  They shared over 55 years of marriage.

We love you so much, Dad! More than words can say. You were a great husband, father, friend…a great man! You lived your life with passion, purpose and love. You always had a kind word to say, a hand to help, a joke to tell. You lived every day to the fullest, achieving any goal you set for yourself. Yours, Dad, is a life that was well lived. I admire you, I love you, and you will always be my guide. Your loving daughter, Jody
