Service Information
Cyrus Loncorich, age 56, of Brownton, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at his residence in Brownton, Minnesota.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017, 3:00 P.M. at Grace Lutheran Church in Brownton. Interment will be held at a later date in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Brownton.
Visitation will be held Saturday, two hours prior to the service from 1:00 -3:00 P.M. at the church.
Obituary
Cyrus “Cy” Henry Loncorich was born on July 27, 1961, in Glencoe, Minnesota. He was the son of Henry and Donna (Winterfeldt) Loncorich. Cy was baptized as an infant in Hutchinson and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth at Grace Lutheran Church in Brownton. He received his education in Brownton, and was a graduate of the Brownton High School Class of 1979.
On February 22, 1997, Cy was united in marriage to Sherrie Potter at Grace Lutheran Church in Brownton. This marriage was blessed with three children, Crystal, Hadeon, and Corbin. Cy and Sherrie resided at Lake Marion, Collins Township, Minnesota area. They shared 16 years of marriage together until Sherrie passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2013.
He worked at Seneca Foods Corporation in Glencoe, Minnesota as a forklift driver for 36 years.
Cy was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Brownton. He was also a board member of the Brownton Rod and Gun Club.
He was an avid outdoorsman. Cy enjoyed hunting and fishing especially participating in fishing tournaments. He also enjoyed his dogs, Legion baseball, high school sports, and bowling. He especially cherished spending time with his family, grandchildren, and friends.
Cy passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017, at his residence in Brownton, at the age of 56 years.

Mother, Donna Loncorich of Brownton, MN;
Special Friend, Jerry Farenbaugh of Brownton, MN;
Brother, Matthew Loncorich and his wife, Jeannine, of New Auburn, MN;
Nieces, Haylee and Rachel Loncorich;
Special Friend, Brenda Zellmann of New Auburn, MN;
many other relatives and friends.
Cy is preceded in death by his wife, Sherrie Loncorich; Father, Henry Loncorich; and Granddaughter, Scarlett Mae Loncorich.
