Service Information

Charles “Chuck” Jahnke, age 62, (Son of Alice Jahnke) of Alexandria, Minnesota, formerly of Hutchinson and Glencoe, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018, at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 24, 2018, 3:00 P.M. at Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe, Minnesota, with interment following at First Lutheran Cemetery in Glencoe, Minnesota.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday, August 24, 2018, from 2:00-3:00 P.M., one hour prior the service at the church.

Obituary

Charles “Chuck” Kenneth Jahnke was born on November 4, 1955, in Glencoe, Minnesota. He was the son of Kenneth and Alice (Suchomel) Jahnke. Charles was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his faith as a youth both at St. George Catholic Church in Glencoe, Minnesota. He received his education in Glencoe, Minnesota, graduating from Glencoe High School. He was also an Eagle Scout. Chuck furthered his education by attending Mankato State, now known as Minnesota State University, in Mankato, Minnesota, receiving a degree in business administration.

Chuck made his home in Glencoe, Brooklyn Park and Hutchinson, Minnesota. For the last 5 years, he lived in Alexandria, Minnesota. His life was blessed with two sons, Thomas and Dustin. Chuck worked at Sealed Power in Minneapolis, Bumper to Bumper in Glencoe, and Napa Auto Parts in Hutchinson, selling automotive parts and supplies.

Chuck loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and working on cars. Chuck cherished time spent with his family and friends.

Chuck passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota, at the age of 62 years, 9 months and 12 days.

Charles is survived by his:
Sons, Thomas “TJ” Jahnke of Rochester, MN,
Dustin Jahnke of Rochester, MN;
Mother, Alice Jahnke of Alexandria, MN;
Brother, Scott Jahnke and his wife, Sandy, of Kalispell, MT;
Mother of his sons, Sandy Glocke of Rochester, MN;
Other relatives and many friends.

Chuck was preceded in death by his Father, Kenneth Jahnke.
