Spent many years at 3M with this woman and have lots of good memories and the laughs we had! She was strong, opinionated, spoke her mind, didn’t let life get the best of her and a hard worker….and that’s what I appreciated about her. My sympathy and prayers to family.
Kenneth Erickson says
Dan, Jo, and family “Ma Hats” was a wonderful person who made everyone feel welcome. I always enjoyed talking with her as she made me laugh and had a huge smile. In her own style, she would address us by our last name (or some version of) and always had time for a conversation. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this difficult time.
Sara Taylor says
To the entire Hatten family and friends who loved and enjoyed Teresa’s company: I am truly sorry for your loss. I only had a few opportunities to visit with her over the years. The lasting impression I have is that she was energetic, loving, out spoken, and a lot of fun to be around. Your family was blessed to have her as your mother, grandmother, and a myriad other roles she played in your life!! Celebrate her life, her legacy.
Kari Diaz (Wendorff) says
My summers in most of my childhood have memories of your mom and Dad- camping out at Chaska with my grandparents (Theresa & Dynamite)they had a camper next to theirs. Those were some of my absolute favorite memories -ever. And I thought your dad was magic because he would make the fire change different colors. I miss those kind of summers. I also remember walking to see your mom and was in awe of all of the owl stuff she had. I will miss her.
I am sorry for your loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I knew and respected Theresa for many years at he 3M Magnetic products plant in the ’60s and ’70s when I was at that plant. She was the type of person who made 3M a successful company. She was a hard worker, loyal, and respected by everyone. When I would visit with her on the floor and she had a comment on how things might be improved she always had a valuable suggestion. She was out spoken in a positive way and always said what she thought and was respected for her thoughts and suggestions.
