Obituary

Eleanor Theresa (Heinen) Pawlicki was born on April 15, 1927, in Pine City, Minnesota. She was the daughter of William and Mary (Daml) Heinen. Eleanor was baptized as an infant on April 23, 1927, and later was confirmed in her faith as a youth on July 6, 1941, both at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pine City, Minnesota. She received her education thru the 8th grade in Pine City, Minnesota.

On May 13, 1961, Eleanor was united in marriage to Donald Michael Pawlicki by Father Henry LeMay at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Glencoe, Minnesota. Eleanor and Donald made their home in Glencoe. In the later years, Eleanor made her home at Millie Beneke Manor and then GlenFields Living with Care in Glencoe. Eleanor and Donald were blessed with three children: Rick, Randy and Patti. They shared 52 years of marriage until Donald passed away on March 20, 2014.

In addition to being a loving wife, mother, and homemaker, Eleanor worked at Strut-Wear, Fairway Food Store and Head Start. She also did babysitting for other families. She was an active member at Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe, Minnesota, where she also served on the CCW.

Eleanor enjoyed reading, cooking and baking. She was a social butterfly always visiting with someone. Eleanor treasured the time spent with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

Eleanor passed away Monday, June 24, 2019, at GlenFields Living with Care in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 92 years, 2 months and 9 days.

Brother, Robert Heinen of Mesa, AZ;
Nieces, Nephews, Other relatives and many friends.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her Parents, William and Mary Heinen; Husband, Donald Pawlicki; Siblings, Eileen Rys and her husband, Frank, Darlene Gildea and her husband, Norman, Clair Heinen and his wife, Margaret, Elizabeth Kurtz and her husband, Elgin; Sister-In-Law, Juanita Heinen.
