I know these posts are for family, and I am part of that family. And that these comments are for the living to help them with their grief. I am that as well. Pam too. And while we called you and told you how much we loved you, we don’t know if you heard us, although we think you did. But if you didn’t, please know we loved you very much and not a day will go by where we won’t think of you. You had 89 years…a full life, but it was still cut short. Good bye to my Mudder. I will miss sending you your cows and Pam will miss her phone calls with you. Without you “Home” will not ever be home again for us. Thankfully we have many happy memories and they will comfort us for the rest of our lives.

Wishing I could give hugs to Lucy’s family—especially Monica, Herb, Wade and Tamra and their children. It seems like yesterday Mollie and I were hitching a ride to marching band parades with Herb, Monica, Nick, Rollie and Lucy. Rollie and Lucy treated Mollie like she was one of their own grandchildren and never failed to ask about her as the years passed and she grew up and started a family of her own. That always meant so much to me and will be missed. I’m so glad your family knows Lucy is now singing in the heavenly choir with that beautiful smile and twinkle in her eyes!
Patricia Mortensen says

Sorry for your families loss. I always enjoyed short visits with Lucy in the grocery store from time to time as she worked there. Such a nice family she raised and pray God’s peace for you and the good of the lasting memories of her life.
Janet Lindquist Chamberlain says
I was so grateful that Lucille could come to my wedding in 2018. Her presence meant the world to me because she reminded me so much of my own mother, Bernice Lindquist. Throughout my life every time I saw Rollie, he would ask me when that wedding invitation would be coming in the mail. Never thought it would happen, but God had other plans and although Rollie couldn’t make it, Lucille did and I am sure she is sharing that event with him now in Heaven. May God continue to give your family all the peace and comfort knowing that she was welcomed with great joy and celebration to her Eternal home.
