We will miss this lovely man. A great neighbor and friend. Leroy and Evelyn loved to watch our kids play outside and joking with them. We all enjoyed walking next door & visiting with Leroy and Evelyn. Leroy did great wood working and we were honored with a few of his pieces. God’s Blessings to him as he made his journey to the Lord. We extend our deepest sympathy to Evelyn and family.

Pastor Roger E. Woller says
Blessed be the memory of LeRoy Grunke. I considered LeRoy not only a member of St. John’s while I served there as pastor for 27 years but also as a friend. I still use the box he made for me to carry my communion glasses, wavers and wine. On the window sill in my office I have the little chair he made for me that is a replica of one of the chairs in church by the altar. Evelyn my deepest sympathy to you at your loss. May the words and promises of our Lord Jesus give you and your family comfort. Jesus is the resurrection and the life and whoever believes in Jesus has everlasting life.
Your friends Pastor Roger & Millie Woller
