Service Information
Gladys L. Neubarth, age 87, of Gaylord, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at REM in Gaylord.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 11:00 A.M., at American Lutheran Church in Gaylord with interment in the First Lutheran Cemetery in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service all at church.
Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
Obituary
Gladys Lillian Neubarth was born on June 7, 1933, in New Auburn, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Esther Neubarth. Gladys was baptized as an infant on June 28, 1933, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth on March 21, 1948, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Auburn.
Gladys resided in New Auburn in her early years and became a resident at Habilitative Services, Inc. (now known as REM). She was happily employed as a laborer at Sibley County Developmental Achievement Center from 1992 to 2019.
Gladys was a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Auburn and a current member of American Lutheran Church in Gaylord. Throughout her lifetime, she attended Camp Friendship and Camp Confidence. Gladys often attended the Pioneer Senior Citizens of New Auburn with her mother and enjoyed watching them play cards.
Gladys enjoyed socializing, going out to eat at various restaurants, the Prairie House was one of her favorites for pie and coffee. Gladys also enjoyed people watching at the mall or area parks. Gladys especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Gladys passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at REM in Gaylord, at the age of 87 years.

Mary and Lynn’s Children, Jill Salisbury and her special friend, Peter, of Robbinsdale, MN,

Megan Ganas and her husband, Brian, of St. Paul, MN;
Many other relatives and friends.
Gladys is preceded in death by her Mother, Esther Neubarth; Aunt, Frieda Peterman; Uncle, Edwin Neubarth; other relatives and friends.
