Service Information
Peggy Lyngholm, age 68, of Mankato passed away, Saturday, August 28, 2021, at her home in Mankato.
Memorial Service will be Thursday, September 2, 2021, 11:00 A.M. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax with interment in the church cemetery.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be two hours prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
Obituary
Peggy Ann Lyngholm was born on September 26, 1952, in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Warren and Bernice (Buerkle) Lyngholm. Peggy was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth, both at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fairfax. She received her education in Fairfax and was a graduate of the Fairfax High School Class of 1971.
After graduation from Fairfax High School she moved to Mankato. She was employed at the Mankato Workshop. Later she was an employee of Target. Peggy made many friends and loved her Target job.
She enjoyed going on cruises with her friends.
When Peggy moved into her own apartment, she adopted a cat. Over the years she adopted Mickey, Max, and Otto.
She will be truly missed.
Peggy is survived by her:
Mother, Bernice Lyngholm of Fairfax, MN;
Brother, Thomas (Barb) Lyngholm of Apple Valley, MN, and
Sister, Cynthia Ryhn of Andover, MN;
Many Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
Peggy was preceded in death by her Father, Warren Lyngholm.
