Service Information
Landon L. Schiro, age 38, of South Haven, Minnesota, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at his home in South Haven.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Stockholm Lutheran Church in Cokato, Minnesota with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Stockholm Lutheran Church in Cokato and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Lunch to follow the service at 1:00 P.M at Howard Lake American Legion, 616 7th Avenue Howard Lake, MN 55349.
Arrangements are with the Hughes-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hector.
Obituary
Landon was born on April 6, 1983 in Willmar, MN. He was the son of Leland Schiro and Leslie Weinzetl. Landon was baptized as an infant on April 24, 1983, and was later confirmed in his faith as a youth in 1997 at Peace Lutheran Church in Cosmos. He received his education in Cokato, and was a graduate of the Dassel-Cokato High School Class of 2001. Landon grew up with his Grandfather Tom and Grandmother Sandy along with his mother Leslie, and later in Cokato with his father Leland.
On September 16, 2017 Landon was united in marriage to Alexandria Reimer at their home in South Haven, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with a daughter, Lillian. Landon and Alexandria resided in South Haven. They shared 4 years of marriage and 17 years together.
Landon began working in the floor coating business with his grandfather Tom. The last ten years, Landon was working for Towmaster of Litchfield in their quality control department before retiring due to his terminal cancer.
Landon enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, riding motorcycles and dirt bikes, kayaking, canoeing, working in his shop, working on cars, snowboarding, wakeboarding, being on the lake, being outdoors, roasting hogs with his father, working on vehicles and machinery, splitting wood, and spending time with family and friends. He especially enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughter, and father.
Landon passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at his home, at the age of 38 years with his wife by his side. Blessed be his memory.

Landon is preceded in death by his Father, Leland Schiro; Sister, Sherri Schiro in infancy; Nephew, Alden Anderson; Grandparents, Thomas and Sandy Libra, Donald and Verna Schiro; Uncle, Roger Kurth.
