Obituary

Gilbert Trevino was born on August 23, 1951, in Donna, Texas.  He was the son of Gilberto Trevino, Sr. and Blanca Bea Rodrigues.

Gilbert attended school in McAllen, Texas, and went on to receive a diploma in Mechanics.         

Gilbert was united in marriage to Mary Placencia on September 25, 1970, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Gilbert and Mary made their home in Stewart, Minnesota. Gilbert and Mary’s marriage was blessed with 8 children; Gilbert Lee, Priscilla Ann, Christina Janie, Mario Lewis, Melissa Nicole, Adrian Timothy, Jacob Raymond, and Kathleen Michelle.

Gilbert worked at Transystems LLC as a truck driver based out of  Renville, Minnesota.  

Gilbert enjoyed gardening, traveling the country, and working on cars. He cherished the time spent with his children and grandchildren. He especially enjoyed “driving the grandkids crazy.”       

Gilbert passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Glencoe Regional Hospital in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 70 years old.

Great-granddaughter, Layla.
