Jeanne Dodd, age 85, of Glencoe, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Grand Meadows Senior Living in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Graveside Service will be held at a later date at the Glencoe City Cemetery.
Obituary
Jeanne Corrine (Janke) Dodd was born on June 9, 1936, at her home in New Auburn, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Fredrick and Frieda (Luebert) Janke. She was baptized as an infant and later was confirmed in her faith as a youth. Jeanne received her education in Brownton, Minnesota.
On May 12, 1956, Jeanne was united in marriage to Charles Dodd Sr. Jeanne and Charles made their home in Glencoe, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with three children. Jeanne and Charles shared 53 years of marriage until Charles passed away on September 19, 2009.
In addition to being a loving wife, mother and homemaker, Jeanne worked at Telex.
Jeanne enjoyed quilting. She loved spending time with her friends and family.
Jeanne passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Grand Meadows in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 85 years.
Blessed be her memory. She will be greatly missed.

Son, Charles Dodd Jr. and his wife, Chris, of Savage, MN;
Grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Ayrel Reed and her husband, Cody, Andrew Dodd and his wife, Laurin, Jacob Dodd, Matthew Dodd, Peyton Dodd, Zachary Dodd;
Great-Grandchildren, Adira Dodd and Elora Dodd;
Sisters, Carol Beltz and her husband, Bruce,
Joyce Peters;
Nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her Parents, Fredrick and Frieda Janke; Son, Scott Dodd; Daughter Apryl Smith and her husband Scott; many brothers and sisters.
