Obituary

Kevin Scott Smith, age 56, of Glencoe, Minnesota, was welcomed into God’s loving arms on May 18, 2024.

Memorial Service will be 1:00 PM Sunday, June 2^nd, 2024, at the Elks Lodge, 720 MN-7, Hutchinson, MN 55350.

Born on February 15th, 1968, Kevin was an avid outdoorsman and hunter - relishing every moment he had hunting fowl, deer, and bear; fishing in the boat and on ice, and snowmobiling. Wanting to turn that love into a career, he attended MN North College in Ely, Minnesota, hoping to work for the DNR. He spent most of his career working at Toro as a CNC Machinist.

Survived by his son, Tyler, who meant the World to him and was his Best Friend, his wife through thick and thin Kimberly; Mother-in-Law, Judy Havelka who selflessly gave everything she could for Kevin during his struggles; Father, Larry Smith; brother, Rory [Shirley] Smith; sister, Amy Smith; stepson, Jeremy Havelka; granddaughter, Hailey Havelka; sister-in-law, Lynn [Brian] Jensen; brother-in-law, David [Teri] Havelka and their sons, Michael and Brandon; nephews, Nick, Kody and Shane; and many cousins and friends from the Okonek, Reusse, and Havelka families.

Preceded in death by his Mother, Meg Reusse, Sister, Teri Smith, his Father-in-Law, Eddie Havelka, and Nephew, Nick Penaz.
