Service Information

Allen Templin, age 66, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Monday, March 25, 2019, at his home in Glencoe, Minnesota.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 29, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at the Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe, Minnesota.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Johnson-McBride Funeral Chapel in Glencoe, Minnesota, and will continue one hour prior the service at the chapel.

Obituary

Allen Herbert Templin was born on June 15, 1952, in Glencoe, Minnesota. He is the son of Herbert and Marcella (Boelter) Templin. Allen was baptized as an infant and later was confirmed in his faith as an adult on December 14, 1975. He received his education in Glencoe, Minnesota, and graduated with the Glencoe High School Class of 1971.

Allen made his home in Glencoe, Minnesota. His life was blessed with five children, Jeremy, Josette, Nicholas, Cassandra and Carissa.

Allen worked for many years at Anchor Glass in Shakopee, Minnesota, until he retired 4 years ago. He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Glencoe.

Allen enjoyed fishing, farming, bar hopping, gardening and had started his own small orchard of fruit trees. He also loved taking trips to tropical locations with his daughters, Carissa and Cassandra. Allen cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

Allen passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019, at his home in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 10 days.

Josette Sprague and her husband, Dean, of Belle Plaine, MN,
Nicholas Templin and his wife, Kathryn, of Brownton, MN,
Cassandra Larson and her husband, Anthony, of Savage, MN,
Carissa St. Martin and her husband, Christopher, of Belle Plaine, MN;
Grandchildren, Devon, Derek, Jordan, Mckensie, Emily, David, Daniel, Mitchell, Zachary, Tyler;
Siblings, Dale Templin, Larry Templin, Gary Templin, Jeanette Templin, Gretchen Templin, Sheila DeLaney,
Amy Alpaugh;
Nieces, Other relatives and many friends.

Allen is preceded in death by his Parents, Herbert and Marcella Templin.
