Andrea Martinez, age 55, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 15, 2021, at 2:30 P.M. at Church of St. Pius X in Glencoe with interment in the Glencoe City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, October 15, 2021, from 1:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M., one hour prior to the service, all at the church.
Obituary
Andrea Martinez was born on February 4, 1966, in Cuencame, Durago, Mexico. She was the daughter of Julian and Francisca (Montes) Marentes. Andrea attended school in Cuencame and then helped her parents.
Andrea was united in marriage to Santiago Martinez. Andrea and Santiago made their home in Glencoe, Minnesota.
Andrea worked at Seneca in Glencoe, Minnesota, Michael’s Foods in Gaylord, Minnesota and Custom HBC in Waconia, Minnesota, but her favorite job title was Mother.
Andrea was a kind and loving person who always saw the good in people. She reminded her family to never lose faith in God. Andrea enjoyed singing and dancing. She cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Andrea passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021, at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota, at the age of 55 years old.

Andrea is survived by her loving family who will miss her dearly.
