Service Information

Ardean “Bear” Lee, age 81, of Franklin passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at the St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield.

Memorial Service will be Sunday, October 4th, 1:30 P.M. at Hauges Cemetery in Camp Township, Renville County.

Obituary

Ardean was born on September 19, 1934, to Agnes Lee who passed away shortly after his birth. He was raised by his grandparents, Bernard and Thea Lee.

Ardean spend the majority of his life in Renville County with a short period of time in North Dakota. His education consisted on the completion of eighth grade with the rest being taught through life lessons. He was a jack of all trades that included truck driving, heavy equipment operator, mechanic and farm hand.

Ardean loved to fix things and was very creative in doing so. He loved to talk and tell stories about his life. Also, having the children come and visit always made him smile.

Ardean is survived by family and friends.
