Arlene E. Beneke

Obituary

Arlene Esther Beneke was born on June 28, 1934, in Hamburg, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Oscar and Doris (Sprengeler) Beneke. Arlene was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in her faith as a youth at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America, Minnesota. She received her education in Norwood Young America, and was a graduate of the Central High School Class of 1952.

On June 6, 1954, Arlene was united in marriage to Burton Luepke. This marriage was blessed with four children, Mark, Beth, Mona, and Cheryl. They later parted ways. Arlene married Keneth Volk on June 28, 1975, they also parted ways. On February 14, 2013, Arlene married Fred Bradshaw, and they later parted ways. She resided in Hutchinson, Minnesota.

Arlene was employed in production at Hutchinson Technology Inc. and at 3M, both in Hutchinson. She later worked at Cash Wise in Hutchinson. Arlene retired in 2004. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.

Arlene enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and canning. She liked going to flea markets and garage sales. Arlene especially enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

Arlene passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Ecumen Pines in Hutchinson, at the age of 90 years.
