Audrey Dietel, age 60, of Norwood Young America, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, Minnesota.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 17, 2018 11:00 A.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America, Minnesota, with interment following at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 17, 2018, from 10:00-11:00 A.M., one hour prior the service at the church.
Memorials preferred to St. John's Lutheran School or families choice.
Obituary
Audrey Kay (Unruh) Dietel was born on June 30, 1958, in Junction City, Kansas. She was the daughter of Kenneth and Nora Ann (Harder) Unruh. Audrey was baptized as an infant. She received her education in Dickinson, North Dakota, graduating from Dickinson High School.
On October 26, 1985, Audrey was united in marriage to Gordon Dietel at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America, Minnesota. They made their home in Norwood Young America. Audrey and Gordon were blessed with three children, Cody, Erik and Paige. They shared over 32 years of marriage.
Audrey worked as account manager at Young America Corporation and also was a medical secretary. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America. Audrey was also a member of the Central Boosters Club.
Audrey enjoyed baking, playing the piano, sewing, reading and her flower garden. She cherished the time spent with her family and friends.
Audrey passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, Minnesota, at the age of 60 years, 1 month and 10 days.

Audrey is preceded in death by her Father-in-Law, Gilbert Dietel.
