Beverly A. Dann

Obituary

Beverly A. (Hosek) Dann was born March 10, 1938, in rural Renville County, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Leonard and Lila (Zaske) Hosek. She was baptized as an infant on April 17, 1938, by Rev. H. Z. Zieske at Evangelical United Brethren Church in Danube, Minnesota. Beverly attended country school in Olivia and later graduated from Olivia High School. She furthered her education by attending the Minneapolis Business College.

On June 27, 1959, Beverly was united in marriage to Ray H. Dann. Beverly and Ray made their home on a farm in Northfield, Minnesota, and later farmed in New Auburn, Minnesota, retiring in Glencoe. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Steve, Susan and Jerry. Beverly and Ray shared over 60 years of marriage.

In addition to being a loving wife, mother and homemaker, Beverly helped on the family farm and held several other jobs including, the Glencoe Bakery and Glencoe Regional Health Services in the dietary and laundry departments for 18 years. Beverly was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glencoe.

Beverly enjoyed sewing, reading, walking and cooking. She loved music, playing the guitar and piano and singing for weddings. She cherished the time spent with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.  She was known as a kind soul to all that knew her.

Beverly passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at Glencoe Regional Health Services in Glencoe, Minnesota, at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 7 days.

Brother, Dennis Hosek and his wife, Karoline, of Eden Prairie, MN;
Sister, Karen Shaw and her husband, Mike, of Hutchinson, MN;
Sisters-In-Law, Barbara Anderson of Arkansas,
Joan Bradley of Arkansas,
Linda Roark of North Carolina;
Nieces, Nephews, Other relatives and many friends.

Beverly was preceded in death by her Parents, Leonard and Lila Hosek; Brothers-In-Law, Don Anderson, Bob Bradley, Cliff Roark.
