I am so sorry to hear of the great loss of your mom. She was a friendly, sweet, caring person. I enjoyed
our visits whenever we would see each other at the grocery store etc. She was so proud of her girls &
her Christmas cards always had a letter telling me about each of you. I miss seeing her car at the farm knowing she was feeding her special kitties. My deepest sympathy. May God give you strength to face each
new day. In friendship, Lea Ette

Susan Schwarze says
Oh, the memories I have of your mother. Our farm was just across the road from the Peters’ farm. My parents were Laurence and Hilda Schwarze. On Saturday mornings, my sisters, Judy and Charlotte,, and I would walk over to Bev’s to listen to what we called the “Cream of Wheat” show. It was an adventure story that aired over the New Ulm radio station. Sure, we had a radio, but it was more fun to listen to it with Bev, and Elva would always have a special treat for us. Bev taught me how to write cursive when I was in first grade. Bev taught me how to ride my adult-sized two wheeler when I was still short! She walked to District 40 country school with us. We sure missed her when she went off to town school. Just a few of the many fond memories I have of her. Angie, you did my mom’s hair for her funeral. Thank you again. With Love, Susan
