Service Information
Carol Hutchins, age 75, of Fairfax passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at CentraCare Redwood Hospital in Redwood Falls.
Memorial Service will be Friday, April 7, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel on Friday.
Obituary
Carol Diane (Reiter) Hutchins was born on September 9, 1947, in Tracy, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Earl and Ruth (Collins) Reiter. She received her education on Balaton and was a graduate of the Balaton High School Class of 1965.
On July 21, 1984, Carol was united in marriage to James Hutchins in Royalton, Minnesota. This union was blessed with one child. She spent her life being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Carol and James shared 38 years of marriage.
Carol enjoyed gardening, animals, crafting, coloring, cooking and spending time with her husband, children and her many grandchildren.
Carol passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at CentraCare Redwood Hospital at the age of 75 years. Blessed be her memory.

Husband, James Hutchins of Fairfax, MN;
Children, David Hutchins and his wife, Krista and their children, Jacob, Benjamin, and Luke of Foley, MN,
Michael Hutchins and his significant other, Mindy Leach and their children, Vincent, Tessalyn, Naomi and Travis of Melrose, MN,
Roger Hutchins and his wife, Anna Marie and their child, Ella of So. St. Paul, MN, and
Amanda (Hutchins) Stoll and her husband, Barrett and their children, Brandon, Billy, Kylie, Justin Jaxon and LillyAnn;
Many Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her Parents, Earl and Ruth Reiter; Brothers, Tom Reiter, Sr., and William Reiter on March 20, 2023.

Carol was a nice lady. She loved, loved her kids and especially her grand kids.
Her smile was eyes would light up when seeing her grand kids. She is loved and will be missed.
