Carola V. Frank, age 91, of Fairfax passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday, March 30, 2015, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minnesota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 7th, 10:30 A.M. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax with interment in the church cemetery.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be Monday, April 6th, from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax. There will be a Prayer Service at 5:00 P.M. Monday. Gathering of Family and Friends will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Arrangements by the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax.
Obituary
Carola Veronica (Toussaint) Frank was born on December 5, 1923, in Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Emil and Catherine (Hurias) Toussaint. Carola was baptized as an infant and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth. She received her education in Fairfax and was a 1941 graduate of the Fairfax High School. Carola furthered her education at the Minneapolis Business College. Carola was united in marriage to Benedict J. Frank on May 10, 1945, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax.
Carola was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Fairfax, Ladies Aid and Christian Mothers.
Carola was a lifetime resident of Fairfax and spent many years working at Prax's Red Owl in Fairfax. Carola was very active and a past officer of the Senior Citizen’s Club. She volunteered at the Fairfax Community Home and enjoyed delivering meals. She also enjoyed walking, playing cards, making apple crisp, swimming in Palm Springs, watching the Minnesota Twins, and crafts. She loved making spritz cookies for her grandchildren. Carola especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Carola passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato, Minnesota, at the age of 91 years. Blessed be her memory.

Carola was preceded in death by her Parents, Emil and Catherine Toussaint.
