Carrie A. Huitt, age 49, of Glencoe, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 13, 2026, 3:00 P.M., at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glencoe, with interment at a later date in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Friday, March 13, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 P.M., two hours prior to the service, ALL at the church.
Obituary
Carrie Anne (Keidel) Huitt was born on February 27, 1977, in Dickinson, North Dakota. She was the daughter of Jesse and Mary (Butenhoff) Keidel. She was baptized as an infant at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Dickinson, and later confirmed in her faith as an adult on March 31, 2002, by Rev. Philip Penhallegon at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota. She received her education in Dickinson, and graduated from Dickinson High School in 1996. She continued her education at Minnesota State Community and Technical College (M State) in Moorhead, Minnesota, earning a certificate in Culinary Arts. She was an active member of FFA in High School and continued to be a lifelong supporter.
On June 17, 2000, Carrie was united in marriage to Dale Huitt by Rev. Kurt Lehmkuhl at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glencoe. Their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Sarah and Jessie. The couple shared over 25 years of marriage.
Carrie was employed at Walmart, Pamida, Pizza Ranch, and also worked as a PCA. She enjoyed cooking, playing video games, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends. Carrie was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Glencoe and a member of the Ladies’ Guild.
Carrie passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at the age of 49 years and 9 days. Blessed be her memory.

Nephews, Gunner Keidel, David Huitt, Julian Huitt, Seth Huitt;
Nieces, Riley Keidel, Ashley (Dennis) Mikila, Willow (Hunter O'Rourke) Huitt, Lola Huitt, Brandi Baysinger;

Carrie was preceded in death by her sister, Sarah Keidel; Grandparents, Vernon and Arlys Keidel; Father-in-law, Jimmie Huitt.
