I don’t know you but I need to let you know you WILL get through this difficult time. I too lost a child years ago and my heart still aches but God helped us learn to live the next part of our life. God is the only one that with time will help your heart not ache as much. I know right now there is nothing anybody can say to help you feel better. That’s ok. You’ll have bad days and good days. At the beginning there will be more bad days than good ones but I promise you the good days will eventually come more often. The sun will shine again after getting through the difficult dark ones. Our babies will be waiting for us when God says it’s time. Take care of yourselves and lean on God. He is there for you.

Homan Family – There are no words to make this right. Only love. During this time, even love will not take away the sorrow. But please know, that above pain and grief, love will always win. Love conquers all. It will take some time before this becomes apparent, and that’s ok…..this loss has no time table. Please know that we walk this journey with you, side by side. God Bless you all.

To Alyssa, Nathan, and your immediate family, as well as your extended families~
There are no words to express my most heartfelt sympathy in your tragic loss. I literally became sick when I heard of this accident. Having been through child loss twice myself, I can only tell you how sorry I am, and that I know the pain and sadness you are feeling. I pray with all my might that God will give you some sort of comfort and peace to navigate the next few days, and the weeks ahead. I pray that the precious memories and pictures you have will give you some measure of the happy life your dear little Carsten lived in his short 12 years. Why God chose to take your beautiful son so soon is beyond our understanding. Don’t don’t lose your faith and hope that you will hold him again someday…you will. That is God’s promise to us, though right now it’s too hard to comprehend.
I am holding you close to my heart and and in my prayers~ God be with you on this difficult journey.
With love and gentle hugs, Jo Reck

We pray you find peace, strength, comfort in the lord And know your son will forever be with you. The following prayer is a reminder of that……
I give you this, one thought to keep. I am with you still I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on the snow. I am the sunlight on the ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the mornings hush, I am the swift uplifting rush…of quiet birds in circle flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not think of me as gone- I am with you still in each new dawn.
