Charles “Chuck” E. Anderson, age 75, husband of Jackie, of Fairfax passed away Thursday, February 12, 2026, at River Valley Health and Rehab in Redwood Falls, Minnesota.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 4:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax. A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 P.M.
Obituary
Charles “Chuck” Elmer Anderson was born on August 3, 1950, in New Ulm, Minnesota. He was the son of Elmer and Ioda (Grunke) Anderson. Chuck was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his faith at Swedlanda Lutheran Church, Palmyra Township, Renville County, Minnesota. He received his education in Fairfax and was a graduate of the Fairfax High School class of 1969. Chuck furthered his education for one year.
On August 21, 1985, Chuck was united in marriage to Jackie Blumhoefer in Olivia, Minnesota. After their marriage, the couple resided in Fairfax. They were blessed with one daughter, Emily. He was employed as a factory worker and also drove truck. Chuck and Jackie shared 40 years of marriage.
Chuck enjoyed driving around looking at the countryside.
When he needed assistance with his care, Chuck became a resident of River Valley Health and Rehab in Redwood Falls and passed away there on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the age of 75. Blessed be his memory.
Chuck is survived by his:
Wife, Jackie Anderson of Fairfax, MN;
Daughter, Emily (Josh) Nelson of Redwood Falls, MN;
Grandchildren, Jordyn, Jozey, and Jed Nelson;
Brothers-in-law, Matt (Sue) Blumhoefer of Willmar, MN, Warren (Mandy) Blumhoefer of Winthrop, MN, and Gary (Deb) Hanson of Fairfax, MN;
Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Chuck was preceded in death by his Parents, Elmer and Ioda Anderson; Stepfather, Earl Peterson; Sister, Lorene Hanson; Brother, Jim Anderson; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Philip and Jayne Blumhoefer; Sister-in-law, Georgina Dombeck; Niece, Tara Portner; Great Nephew, Jonah Hanson.
