Obituary

Corinne Deloris Danielson was born on November 14, 1924, in Cairo Township, Renville County, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Irving and Selma (Johnson) Landgraff. Corinne was united with our Lord Jesus Christ through Holy Baptism on December 7, 1924, at Camp Church in Cairo Township, rural Fairfax, and was later confirmed in her faith as a youth on June 25, 1939, at Fort Ridgley and Dale Lutheran Church. She received her education in Fairfax and was a graduate of the Fairfax High School Class of 1942. She furthered her education at Mankato State Teacher’s College for two and a half years.

Corinne was united in marriage to Lloyd Danielson on June 23, 1948, at Central Lutheran Church, Camp Township, Renville County, Minnesota. Their marriage was the first held at Central Lutheran after its formation. This marriage was blessed with three sons. After their marriage, the couple farmed in Bandon Township and retired from farming in 1982. The couple stayed on the farm until 1993, when they moved into Fairfax. The farm and cows were important to her. She was proud of teaching first and second grade in Gibbon. Corinne and Lloyd shared 57 years of marriage when he passed away on November 21, 2005.

Corinne enjoyed Sudoku, watching the Minnesota Twins and the Timberwolves, music especially polka bands, sewing, embroidering, reading, watching game shows, and jigsaw puzzles. She cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

When she needed assistance with her care, Corinne became a resident of Gil Mor Manor in Morgan and passed away there on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the age of 100 years. Blessed be her memory.

My deepest thought are with Brad, Ronnie & Russ and your families on the passing of your amazing Mom. Your parents were my Godparents and always remembered me while growing up. We have been traveling since the 5th and just saw a FB post by Georgeanne today on the 12th. Prayers for all of you.
