Obituary
Cynthia "Cyndy" Jane Talberg passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 70. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ellen Cranston; her sister Connie Meisinger; and her brother Craig Cranston. Cyndy is survived by her husband, Paul Talberg, children Erin Talberg (Matt Friedrich) and Sean Talberg (Courtney), and sister Carla Cranston.
Cyndy was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and was the eldest of four children, including one brother and two sisters. She was raised in the Catholic faith and graduated from Benilde-St. Margaret's in 1973, where her goal was to help children. In 1976, she enrolled at Hennepin Technical College to study Child Development; however, her academic pursuits were cut short five months into the nine-month program due to a serious automobile accident.
Cyndy and Paul were married for over 39 years, during which they built a rich and loving life together. From their small Chaska apartment to their home in Hutchinson, love followed them every step of the way. They raised their children in Hutchinson and cherished summers at her family’s beloved cabin in Akeley. Cyndy was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, and sister.
