Cynthia “Cindy” Brundell, age 53, of New Auburn, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at her home in New Auburn.
Memorial Service will be Friday, September 23, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Hahn’s Dining in Winthrop, Minnesota.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be Friday, September 23, 2016, from 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Hahn’s Dining in Winthrop.
Obituary
Cynthia “Cindy” Marie Brundell was born on June 10, 1963, to Leslie and Phyllis Brundell in Alexandria, Minnesota. Cindy graduated from Gaylord High School in 1981.
Cindy was joined in marriage to Brad Plihal on July 7, 1990, in Glencoe, Minnesota. They raised their three sons in Glencoe.
Cindy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, throwing darts, working at Dicky Bob’s, watching NASCAR and the Minnesota Vikings on TV.
Cindy passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at her home in New Auburn, Minnesota, at the age of 53 years. Blessed be her memory.

Sons, Nick Plihal of White Bear Lake, MN,
Tyler Plihal of Hutchinson, MN, and
Travis Plihal of Glencoe, MN;
Grandchildren, William, Brianna, Maisie;
Mother, Phyllis Brundell of Groton, SD;
Sister, Sheri Brundell of Aberdeen, SD;
Brother, Jeff Brundell of Watertown, SD;
Ex-Husband, Brad Plihal;
One Niece, Two Nephews and Great Niece and Great Nephews of Aberdeen, SD;
Other relatives and friends.
Cindy was preceded in death by her Grandparents; Father, Leslie Brundell; Several Aunts and Uncles.

Aunt Phyllis, Sheri, Jeff, Cindy’s Boys…My heart goes out to all of you. I don’t have the words to express how sad this is. I wish I didn’t live so far away.
