Dale V. Anderson

Obituary

Dale Anderson was born on August 6, 1941, in Genola, MN to Lloyd and Evelyn (Lampert) Kasch. He was adopted at the age of 5 years old to Alfred and Ruth Anderson of the Lake Jennie Community. Dale attended country school, District 77, in rural Dassel and Dassel High School.

On August 14, 1971, Dale was united in marriage to Lorraine Hennessey at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Dassel. The marriage was blessed with three sons, Tim, Darin, and Chad. Dale and Lorraine shared 47 years of marriage.

Dale owned and operated Anderson Repair where he did mechanical, welding, and farm repair. In 1975, he took over the 3rd generation farm when his father, Alfred Anderson, retired. Dale was very active as a Boy Scout and Explorer Leader.

Dale enjoyed fishing, hunting, and traveling to Northern Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Canada. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Dale passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019, at Prairie Senior Cottages of Hutchinson, at the age of 77 years.
