Service Information
Darin V. Anderson, age 53, of Dassel, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at his home in Dassel.
Memorial Service will be Wednesday, February 11, 2026, 1:00 P.M., at Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Hutchinson, Minnesota, with interment at a later date in Lake Jennie Cemetery in Dassel.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Obituary
Darin Vernon Anderson was born on April 12, 1972, in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was the son of Dale and Lorraine (Hennessey) Anderson. Darin was baptized as an infant and later confirmed in his faith as a youth, both at Dassel Covenant Church in Dassel, Minnesota. He received his education in the Dassel-Cokato School district.
Darin was blessed with one daughter, Ashleigh, and one granddaughter, Vera. He resided in rural Dassel.
Darin was a self-employed welder. As a youth, he was a Cub Scout and later a Boy Scout. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, ice fishing, farming, his cats, and riding his motorcycle was his passion.
Darin passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at his home in rural Dassel, at the age of 53 years.
Darin will be missed deeply.

Daughter, Ashleigh Wyze and her husband, Stewart of Cokato, MN;
Granddaughter, Vera Wyze;
Mother, Lorraine Anderson of Dassel, MN;
Brother, Chad Anderson and his wife, Karen, and their three children, of Dassel, MN;
Many other relatives and friends.
Darin is preceded in death by his Father, Dale Anderson; Brother, Tim Anderson; Sister, Deborah Anderson.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Darin’s passing. I just have no words. He was a deeply treasured friend of mine growing up. My heart breaks knowing I will not be able to see him again in this life. Prayers of comfort to his family.
