Service Information

David A. Aydt, age 64, of Hutchinson, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at Prairie Senior Cottages in Hutchinson. 

Memorials are preferred to Michael Aydt at 1200 Heritage Ave NW Hutchinson, MN 55350.

Obituary

David Anthony Aydt was born on December 29, 1955, in Hollywood, California. He was the son of David Sr. and Evelyn (Wood) Aydt. He received his education through the tenth grade.

On July 3, 1995, David was united in marriage to Jeri Kuehn in Glencoe, Minnesota. Together they shared two sons, Jace and Michael and two stepsons, Scott and Kevin.

David resided in California, Oregon, and later settled in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He was employed as a concrete construction worker for many years. David was then employed at the Hutchinson Mall as a maintenance worker until he retired in 2005.

He enjoyed camping, woodworking, fishing, throwing darts, and listening to music. David cherished the time spent with his family, grandchildren and friends.

David became a resident at Prairie Senior Cottages in Hutchinson on November 18, 2019. He passed away on there on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at the age of 64 years. Blessed be his memory.

David is survived by his:
Wife, Jeri Aydt of Hutchinson, MN;
Sons, Jace Aydt and his wife, Jennifer, of Cottage Grove, MN,
           Michael Aydt and his wife, Robin, of Hutchinson, MN;
Stepson, Scott Southerland of Seattle, WA;
Grandchildren, Jake Aydt, Jada Aydt, Ashlyn Aydt, and Caleb Aydt;
Siblings, Wanda Monson and her husband, Al, of Hutchinson, MN,
                 Brenda Anderson and her husband, Doug, of Hutchinson, MN,
                 Melody Aydt of California;
Many other relatives and friends

David is preceded in death by his Parents, David Sr. and Evelyn Aydt; and Stepson, Kevin Southerland.
